Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms govern the provision, by LVS Solutions ("LVS Solutions", "we"), of a subscription website or digital solution to a client ("you"). By subscribing to an offer, you agree to the terms applicable to your project.

2. Service description

LVS Solutions designs, hosts and maintains websites under the agreed offer: Showcase Website, Payments / User Management, or a custom project provided by quote. The precise features and scope are confirmed in the proposal accepted by the client.

3. Site ownership

The domain name associated with your site is registered in your name and belongs to you. The content you provide (text, photos, logo) remains your property at all times. The source code and hosting remain managed by LVS Solutions during the subscription, unless otherwise transferred by written agreement. You may request to buy out your site; see our "Who owns my website?" page for more information.

4. Term and commitment

Subscription duration, any applicable commitment and cancellation conditions are set out in the proposal or contract you accept before the project begins. Previously signed agreements retain their respective terms.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription in accordance with the proposal or contract you accepted. The site is taken down at the end of the applicable service period. Your domain name and content are handed over on request.

6. Client-provided content

You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the content you provide us (text, photos, logo, trademarks) and authorize us to use it solely for the creation and operation of your site.

7. What's not included

The monthly plan covers hosting, an SSL certificate, backups, technical updates, uptime monitoring and minor edits. Not included: a new page, a visual redesign, content writing, an online store, a photo shoot or ad campaigns. These services are billed separately on request.

8. Delivery timelines

A showcase website can generally be completed within 7 days after we receive all required content. For websites with payments, user management or custom functionality, delivery timelines are agreed upon based on project complexity.

9. Availability and maintenance

We aim for high availability of our hosting services, without guaranteeing absolute uptime. Occasional maintenance interruptions may occur, with notice when possible.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, LVS Solutions' liability to you is limited to the amounts actually paid over the past 12 months for the service in question.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you by email before taking effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable laws of Canada.
